Rebekah Silveira (Beck)

Beck has a focus on assisting you to recover from acute episodes of pain and to return you to your chosen activity safely.

She is a strong advocate of utilising exercise in the recovery from injury and in prevention of recurrences. Using the detailed knowledge in injury diagnosis along with the latest scientific research, Beck uses a systematic approach to identify your condition and guide you back to function.

Beck completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in 2014.

After graduating, Beck undertook a position at the Prince of Wales Hospital. This post provided extensive experience across multiple areas of Physiotherapy. Her interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries then led her to pursue a career at Active Care Physiotherapy & Sports Therapy.

Beck has extensive on-field sports injury experience as a Physiotherapist for Netball NSW’s State and Metro Leagues as well as working with local AFL teams.

Beck has special interest in Pilates, Sports Physiotherapy and Lower Limb Tendinopathy. She continuously refines her knowledge and seeks further learning by following the latest research in these areas.

Beck has developed a particular interest in the latest research regarding accelerated rehabilitation from ACL injury and provides outdoor exercise programs for later stage rehabilitation of hips/knees/ankles. After personal experience with knee and ankle injuries, Beck also understand the hard work and dedication that is required to get you back to your best.

Outside of the clinic, Beck enjoys her team sports, particularly Netball and Oztag and practices Pilates.

Beck is committed to working closely with her patients to understand and achieve their goals.
