How quickly can I see a physio?
We can usually provide you with an appointment within 24 hours.
We’re open Mon to Thurs 6.30am-6.00pm, Fri 7.00am-2.00pm and Sat 9.00am-1.00pm
How long are the appointments?
All appointments are 35 minutes long. Please talk to our reception staff if you require a longer appointment.
Do I need a referral?
No. However, if you do have a referral, please bring it along to assist our communication with your referring practitioner
What should I wear?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that will not restrict your movement. Ideally wear clothes that allow us to see the injured area (e.g. a singlet for neck and shoulder problems or shorts for leg injuries).
What can I expect on my first appointment?
The physio will conduct a thorough assessment, first by asking a number of questions, and then assessing your movement and function. Successful treatment will depend on determining what structures may be injured, and what else is contributing to the condition. We discuss with you the diagnosis, the treatment plan, and likely time frames. The first session may also involve hands on treatment as required.
Should I bring anything else?
If you have relevant X-rays or scans, bring them to assist in the assessment. Please check with us if it would be appropriate to bring in footwear, or sporting equipment (e.g. tennis racquet), to check if they are impacting on the condition.
Do you have HICAPS?
Yes, bring along your health fund card for immediate claims.
