Immediately developed a keen interest in sports physiotherapy
Undertook her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy graduating from La Trobe University in 2009 Being awarded the APA Sports physiotherapy Title.
While completing the Sports Level III course at the Australian Institute of Sport, Nic was inspired to follow a career pathway in Dance Physiotherapy.
Nic has since worked with a diverse range of performers at all levels from beginners to the most elite principal dancers. Nic has a reputation for dance physiotherapy in dance schools locally and internationally. For several years, Nicole has worked as an integral part of the medical team of The Australian Ballet treating the dancers during their Sydney Seasons of contemporary and classical ballets.
Nic brings a unique combination of a deep experience and knowledge in dance physiotherapy and exceptional communication skills to her management of dancers.
Nic is involved in research to discover the best treatment strategies for her patients.
Nicole is well reputed for treating the whole person, working with dance teachers, pilates instructors, sports doctors, psychologists, dietitians and massage therapists to integrate a wholistic management strategy with strong consideration to the global health, welfare and performance of dancers.
Nic’s understanding of specific dance related injuries and conditions leads her to construct individually tailored solutions which match relevant performance requirements and to care for the whole person with professionalism and sensitvity.
